Hi,
Today, I am writing to let you know that I fully support the San Luis Ranch project and feel this type of housing
project is necessary and long overdue! I came to San Luis Obispo in 1983 as a Cal Poly student. I loved the
Central Coast so much that I took a job here and have remained in the area.
But San Luis Obispo is in dire need of workforce housing here in San Luis Obispo. As a single individual, I
struggle to rent here in the area, and everyday I face the realization that I will have to leave the area if I am to
ever realize the dream of becoming a homeowner.
Working class individuals, like myself who live, work, and contribute to this community are priced out of the
local housing market. I have created a life here, love the area and really do hate the thoughts that I have every
day, which are, that I really cannot afford to live here.
Please realize and consider what a huge difference, and how much of an impact this project and others like it
can have in the lives of so many outstanding individuals in the community.
San Luis Obispo needs the San Luis Ranch Project!
