Subject:Workforce Housing in San Luis Obispo
Hello,
I moved to this city 3 years ago with a hope to have own house. As per the law ,I do not fall into the bracket of
below poverty housing so have very few options even around San Luis Obispo limits.
There are not many good and affordable rental apartment options. I am currently paying the rent equivalent
to the monthly mortgage amount and the rent increases every year!!!
In short the amount I pay on rent does not contribute to any kind of monetary gain.
So I request the advisory body to sincerely consider the options of building affordable homes for people like
me who work in San Luis Obispo.
