Subject:Planning Commission 7/25/18-item 1, 790 Foothill violates health and safety law.
Dear Planning Commissioners, please do not allow LA Developer, Loren Tiehl continue to endanger the health and safety
of our neighborhood with inadequate parking for their massive structures especially at 790 Foothill. It's against State
law to go ahead with projects that endanger the health and safety of our neighborhoods. They have already ruined the
quiet neighborhood of 71 Palomar with potentially too many units with increased traffic and inadequate parking.
(Parking in the streets is already full with vehicles from Valencia Student apartments next door who also does not
provide adequate parking). And they also created a hazard at 22 Chorro with no parking and single entry and exit, plus
adding to a dangerous intersection. When do we draw the line? 790 Foothill must be scaled down and provide parking
spaces to as many students with vehicles that they plan to rent to. They are not responsible developers continually
ignoring health and safety state laws, endangering present neighborhood's health and safety. Elizabeth DeHaan
