Subject:SLO Planning Commission, 7/25/18, item 1, 790 Foothill
Honorable Chair and Commissioners,
I appreciate you taking the time to read the correspondence regarding the development proposed for 790 Foothill.
I hope that you will hear our pleas, and take some time to deliberate before responding.
I am not nearly as eloquent as Allan Cooper, but am thankful for his knowledge, and am in total agreement with
everything he stated.
I am very emotional about the massiveness of this ugly off campus dorm, and the irreparable harm that will be done to
our quality of life if this should be approved. And am very concerned about the perilous traffic situation to all, cars,
bicyclists and pedestrians.
If we can’t learn from our mistakes (22 Chorro), what are we as a community?n
Two issues that I feel must need required of the developer before any further step forward:
1) A traffic study done AFTER 22 Chorro is fully inhabited, and school is back in session, in late September.
2) An Economic Feasability Analysis to show how he qualifies for the density bonus.
To approve this project without requiring the above studies is reckless and irresponsible.

community from those who would do it harm.
