Dear Planning Commission,
I have lived on Benton Way for 41 years and have seen many changes. None have been destructive to the neighborhood
in the way that 22Chorro and the proposed 790 Foothill are. It is understood that the low income housing segment of
the projects allowed for considerable lack of having to meet existing density, safety, and parking standards.
The population density, height, and in your face type structures do not work here. Huge increase in traffic, off site
parking, potential noise, and significant change in visual nature of this section of town are very disturbing. Two stories,
set back from street, open spaces for residents, adequate parking are all viable options. Not this project!
