Ron -----Original Message----- From: Will Powers <drwill.powers7@gmail.com> Sent: Monday, October 22, 2018 12:12 PM To: Combs, Ron <rcombs@slocity.org> Subject: Today's Tree Committee meeting Ron: I will not be able to attend today and could not figure out how to send an email directly to the committee, so I ask that you forward the following to them: 1. Of course, I oppose removal of the tree at 1085 Higuera; that tree has been neglected and proper root-trimming and other care will make it completely viable. Just because a greedy bank wants to make its building easier to see, that's no reason to allow them to slaughter a wonderful, oxygen-producing tree. 2. I reviewed the following from Committee actions a year ago: --The tree in front of the Granada Hotel at 1130 Morro is still there, as ordered by the committee. --Same for the two melaleucas at the Crossroads Center, 3211 Broad. --Also, the two of the 4 eucs at 364 Los Cerros were removed, according to committee dictates. --The Ficus at 435 Marsh remains, thanks to the committee, as does the Carrotwood at 266 Monterey. --The coast live oak at 131 Serra Heights also remains, as ordered. So, a good report from the archives this month. Thank you for all your good work. Will Powers 1
