Please distribute to the City Council, Planning Commission and ARC
I drove past the county strikers today. I am in full support of these underpaid public servants.
To the Board of Supervisors:
Shame on the Board of Supervisors for not taking care of our employees. These employees should not only
receive the 3% that they are asking for but the 10-18% that will put them in parity with comparable counties.
If our available county funds have been so carelessly spent that you cannot take care of the heart of our county
then you must raise taxes to keep these community assets from leaving.
To the city of San Luis Obispo:

These are the very people who we want as our neighbors. Why do you continue to allow wealthy Cal Poly
parents and investors to buy up our neighborhood homes. Get the Board of Supervisors to join the city of SLO,
grow a backbone and force Cal Poly to house all of their students so that the city homes become available to
county, and city employees once again. Stop approving high priced developments that are beyond the reach of
hardworking families in our city and county.
