Each agency, upon a request for a copy of records, shall, within 10 days from receipt of the request, determine whether the request in whole or in part seeks copies of disclosable public records in the possession of the agency and shall promptly notify the person making the request of the determination and the reasons therefore. In unusual circumstances, the time limit presolbed in this section may be extended by written notice by the head of the agency or his or her designee to the person making the request, selling forth the reasons for the extension and the dote on which a determination is expected to be dispatched. No notice shall specify a date that would result in an extension for more than 14 days.' G:\Blank Forms and Temp lates\Request for Public Records 08/16 Z6(2 This is the third request (PRR19047 and 18317) for information pertaining to injury statistics for the SLO Fire Department which is the City of SLO obligation to provide. We are not asking for any personal information that would violate CA Labor Code 138.7. We only need the summary data by year and information on serious injuries while actively fighting fires. The City of SLO has only an average one fire per year with very few, if any, injuries. This type of summary data should not be hard to provide. Every Febuary the City of SLO must file an OSHA 300A report for the SLO Fire Department. This report covers the publicly listed number of employees, number of hours worked, number of cases of Work Comp claims filed, number of days lost and the total number of injuries. Under the Public Records Act please provide the OSHA 300A report for the City of SLO Fire Department covering the years from 1990 to the present date. RECEIVED FFg 2 7 2019 sLQ CITY CLERK
