Chorro street tie in
9:00 AM: Contractor is tying over one services and changing out meters on Chorro.
Also strated potholing street for tie-in starting at 2pm to 6pm.
2pm Jerry and Ryan are on site water is shut down.
D-Kal has 2 crews working on site one at Pismo and one at Pacific.
4pm while excavating to remove thrust from existing watermain contractor found a abandoned 8'' waterline and valve. Contractor was missing some correct fitting for tie-in and was delayed
because they had to go pick up correct fittings. exsample was megalug fittings for DI rather than PVC. MJ glands rather than meg a lugs.
After removing the existing abandoned main found existing SD slope 15% and was in conflict with tie -in.
4:30 pm I directed contractor to install new line under existing SD.
8:00 pm water back on at Pismo.
9:30 pm water back on at Pacific fire alarm whent off at 881 Pacific FD on site I called disspatch to inform them.
