Commissioners:
Please reject the proposed modifications to 1185 Monterey Street. You stood up against the dark
charcoal colors on 1135 Santa Rosa Street; you did the right thing. Deny the applicant's color choice
as it is not compatible with the neighborhood and violates the city's design guidelines.
This building's scale and proportions would be better suited to Bakersfield, Stockton or Santa Maria.
Please realize that my objection has nothing to do with the developer. Thank you.
