Just let me know if he has any trouble doing it. If so, I’ll just need the owner’s contact info and can prepare a
permit for to send them.

Hey Luke,
Thanks for getting back to me on this.
I will order a sign with the new times.

I spoke with Jeff and he thinks he can relocate the sign to the side with the brick pavers. If you advise against
it, then we will pursue a red curb permit. Would the resident need to complete a red curb permit application
before moving forward?
Thanks!
Alex

On most days, the afternoon bell time is 2:50PM—I could see revising the “No Stopping” time to 2:30-3:30PM
as an appropriate change.
That’s going to be a pain relocating that sign to the other side of the driveway with the brick pavers, right?
Another low cost/effort suggestion to consider---what if we approve a red curb permit and have Jeff paint a
couple of feet of red curb on each side of the driveway when he swaps out the No Stopping sign? The resident
would be responsible for refreshing the red paint as needed down the road, but we could offer to install it as a
compromise instead of moving the sign pole.
Thoughts?

Subject: Request from 160 Highland
Hey all,
I have received a request from a resident, Aaron Salmon, at 160 Highland Drive to relocate a no stopping and
no U-turn sign to the other side of his property’s driveway. Aaron and his wife are experiencing issues with
parents blocking their driveway as they wait to pick-up their students from school. He has also requested to
have the no stopping hours on the sign changed so that they align with Bishop’s Peak school hour s. Right now
3
the sign states, No Stopping 8-8:30 AM and 2-2:30 PM. Aaron would like it changed to, No Stopping 8-8:30 AM
and 3-3:30 PM. If approved, I will see if Jeff LeQuesne can relocate the sign. Below is a picture of the sign and
the driveway for 160 Highland.
Thanks,
Alexander Fuchs
