Good Afternoon Gentleman. Just curious what steps have been made in the past week to allow us to use our driveway
at 160 Highland. Because from the 2 above photos obviously a plan has not been implemented and nothing has
changed. These are not one time offenses we were able to magically able capture on photo. These are as we are
attempting to leave and quick photo was taken.

Mr. Block, Thank you for the response. Maybe the city (Mr. Lee) could paint the curb red on the west
side of Highland and the opposite curb could be painted for 15 min loading. This would help solve 2
problems. 1, people would be less apt to park on a red curb. 2, it would limit the constant school staff
that parks there everyday that severely limits the parents pickup and drop off area.

With the start of the school year I have communicated with families with letters and
talks about parking and I will
continue to do so with upcoming newsletters and at Back‐To‐School Night. This school
year has the added challenge
of construction on site. The sidewalk is closed off Craig coming up to campus, so I will
be occupied down there
rerouting students safely to an alternate walking route. I assure you that I am around
campus and the surrounding streets every day
during arrival and dismissal. I will also come up to Highland to educate parents about
using the Fel Mar loop so that they drop off on
the school side of Highland.
The first day sees far more cars than a typical day so I hope this not an repeated
occurance for you this year.

elementary. I was hoping with the 2 plus month Summer vacation something would
have been done to assist the owners on Highland Drive to be able to access their
driveway. We are now into our third year with this battle and I fell our request for
assistance is falling on deaf ears. I’ll attach photos of this morning as we attempted to
pull out of our driveway. People blocked our driveway and abandoned their vehicle as
I was attempting to leave.
