Subject:In support of SLO Repertory Theater's proposed new building
As a resident of one of the historic areas of the city of San Luis Obispo, I appreciate the city’s effort to retain some of the
historic feel of the city. The neighborhoods near downtown, such as mine, seem to have maintained much of the
character of the earlier days of the city. As the city as grown and needs and styles have changed, new buildings have
appeared and other neighborhoods have naturally grown and evolved.
I believe that the building proposed by SLO Rep fits within its neighborhood. As the submission shows, it includes
elements of surrounding and nearby buildings and will blend in and enhance that area.
I strongly support approval of the proposal as submitted.
