As a reminder, the purpose of the review was to validate the territory designation for each service address in PG&E's service territory. With your help, we completed the project back in the latter part of 2011. PG&E updated its records for the City of San Luis Obispo in November of 2011, changing 55 service addresses to the City of San Luis Obispo and 290 service addresses from the City of San Luis Obispo. We informed the City of San Luis Obispo back in November of 2011 that we had recalculated our franchise fee payments for calendar years 2006 through 2010 and franchise fee surcharge payments for calendar years 2007 through 2010 and we provided the City of San Luis Obispo with reports that summarized these calculations. Since November of 2011, PG&E has received requests from our local city or county representatives and/or customers requesting for PG&E to revert back to the territory designation we had on file prior to November of 2011. Based on confirmation from the jurisdiction who levies the utility users' tax to the customers that were impacted, PG&E reflected these changes and updated its billing system. Additionally, PG&E recalculated the figures for the periods reflected above. For the following list of remittances, PG&E recalculated a change to the figure originally reported to the City of San Luis Obispo in November of 2011: Electric Franchise Fee For your reference, please find enclosed a copy of the updated report(s). For any changes to the figures reported for calendar year 2010 for purposes of franchise fees and franchise fee surcharges, the report will identify if any additional amount may be due to the City of San Luis Obispo or it will reflect the final amount of overpayment made to the City of San Luis Obispo. We informed the City of San Luis Obispo back in November of 2011 that if an overpayment was calculated for calendar year 2010, PG&E would carry forward the overpayment as an adjustment to your 2011 remittance. You will therefore see an adjustment to our 2011 remittance under the line item 2010 Adjustment — Updated Customer Information for the additional amount owed or an adjustment for the final calculated overpayment. For any changes to the figures reported for calendar years 2006 through 2009 for purposes of franchise fees and calendar years 2007 through 2009 for purposes of franchise fee surcharges, we also enclosed reports for your reference. The report(s) will identify if any additional amount may be due to the City of San Luis Obispo or it will reflect the final amount of overpayment made to the City of San Luis Obispo. Please find enclosed a check in the amount of any additional underpayment owed, if applicable. As previously communicated, PG&E will not seek recovery for any overpayments. All rights reserved. 77 Beale Street San Francisco, CA 94105 B14L To account for these service address changes in the City of San Luis Obispo's 2011 franchise fees and/or franchise fee surcharge remittance, PG&E has reallocated the revenue and/or surcharges for calendar year 2011 for the premises impacted based on these changes. If the City of San Luis Obispo's franchise fee and/or franchise fee surcharge 2011 payment is impacted, the adjustment will be reflected on the 2011 Adjustment — Updated Customer Information line item. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. We are committed to working with you and your team to achieve the most accurate and transparent data possible.
