We can release a copy of the public log as well as a Summary Sheet for this incident which details all the information that must be released per GC 6254(f). If you would like this information you can contact Tera Rapp in records and she can provide this information. Pursuant to Government Code section 6254(f), “Records of complaints to, or investigations conducted by…any state or local agency....” are exempt from disclosure. See also Haynie v Superior Court (2001) 26 C. 4th 1063. The questions you are asking in regards to San Luis Obispo Police Department case #190914079 are regarding the investigation of this incident, and are therefore exempt from disclosure. Jeff Smith Police Captain From: Karen Velie <velieslo@gmail.com>   Sent: Wednesday, October 16, 2019 4:53 PM  To: Smith, Jeff <jsmith@slocity.org>  Subject: Media question    Officer Smith    Do you know if the young man fell or was pushed off or fell from the Marsh Street parking garage on Sept 14?    Was a man in his 50s buying the young man drinks at the Frog and Peach?    Did the young man get upset and leave the bar at about 8 P.M.?    Did the older man chase the 21‐year‐old man.?    Was the 21‐year‐old seen falling in the street?    Did the older man chase the victim to the parking structure?  2   What time did the young man fall?    Were the two men seen earlier in the day drinking in Morro Bay, at about 1:30? If so, where?    Was the victim's BAC .38?    Does the department know the identity of the older man?    Have officers questioned the older man? Id so, can you release his name?    Is this possibly a criminal case?     If so, who could be suspects?    Is the bar or bartender in any trouble or could they be?    Are officers looking for witnesses?     Are you disclosing the name of the victim?    Karen Velie
